My Goal through the weaving of Colors, Values, Tones is to draw you into the Mood of the artwork… Bring a smile …a feeling of Inner Joy or Amusement …a Sense of Peace…a small breeze of Nostalgia tickling your memory ….  If my work  Haunts  you…..long after you have walked away, then I will have done my job.

An Arizona Native, Santos’ art can be found in the permanent art collection of the cities of Avondale and Glendale as well as small corporate offices and private collections in Kentucky, Delaware, California, Texas, Nevada, Washington D.C., and Arizona. A Juried member of the following professional Art Organizations:  AZ. Watercolor Association, AZ. Artists’ Guild, AZ. Pastel Artists’ Association, and AZ. Art Alliance, her educational background includes BS and MA degrees from NAU; studies in Guadalajara, Mexico; GCC & ASU; NOVA. Retiring after 35 years in Education, Santos did not retire from Life.  She continues to study with various well-known artists and photographers. Santos believes:  “Education should continue throughout One’s Life-Journey so that One may Effectively assist Others along The Path. We do NOT exist in isolation.  We are All part of the Whole.”
Santos has held offices in the various Art Organizations of which she is a member. She regularly works as a Demonstration Artist for the Art Alliance Exhibitions, AZ State Fair, Palo Verde Art league, Sun City West, and Lakeview.  Santos is the Authorized Arizona Art Instructor for Pebeo International, demonstrating in Fragonard and XL Oils.
An Award-winning and Published Artist who teaches workshops and classes in various media, she paints spiritual meditation pieces, commissioned Portraits of Animals and People, Wildlife Art, & Custom Teddy-bear scenes.  Recently, she held a Solo Exhibition & is currently teaching classes at AZ. Art Supply in Sun City and Lakeview Art Club; skill levels for students from Beginning through Advanced. Mediums are Graphite, Colored Pencil, W/C Pencil, Charcoal, Oil & Soft Pastel, Watercolor, Acrylic, Mixed Media, Experimental Watermedia & Oil.
